Tri-Town Driving Program

The Most Comprehensive Driving Program in New England

I think the Tri-Town Driving course was very helpful and beneficial to me. I learned all sorts of things I never would have thought to think about. I will be safer because of it. I really will wear my seat belt now.It provided a balance of instruction and fear, giving me knowledge of what to do while driving and how to respect the privilege of driving. The state trooper was influential. I now respect the power of a moving vehicle and will be respectful of it.
The day you hand car keys over to your teenager is probably a day of mixed feelings. You feel pride because he/she has taken a closer step into adulthood. You feel fear because you know in your heart there is still a lot of kid left in him/her. That’s not just parental paranoia talking.

Inexperience, immaturity, and risk-taking behavior among teenagers makes them three times more likely than adults to get into a fatal car accident.

Your young driver is less likely to wear a seatbelt, more likely to drive at night, drive drunk, and drive in a car filled with other teenagers. Teens are prone to peer pressure that causes them to make terrible decisions.

Tri-Town Driving School has worked with kids for 39 years. We know how they think, how they act, and how they learn. Our Ultimate Driving Program is designed for the teenage mindset.

Unfortunately, few driving courses go beyond the basics to turn students into smart, safe, and defensive drivers. Tri-Town Ultimate Driving Program instills a continuous message of awareness and safety to young drivers throughout the course.

Intensive Behind-The-Wheel Training

I think that this course helped me so much. It taught me all of the things of the road that I didn’t understand from reading the drivers manual.

Which Teaching Method Do You Trust More: Hands On or Simulation?

Some people avoid highway driving for years because no one showed them how to enter onto a highway, make lane changes, deal with speeding drivers, or share the road with large trucks.

Not all schools provide behind-the-wheel driver instruction for highways, rotaries, or other challenging road situations. Some driving schools offer it upon request and make you pay extra. Other schools set up simulated environments in parking lots.

Tri-Town knows that defensive driving can only be taught in real-life driving situations not parking lots.

Each student spends 12 Hours hands-on-experience, behind-the-wheel training in real traffic, on real roads combining basic, advanced, & DEFENSIVE driving techniques. PLUS 6 hours of student observation.

It taught me many lessons about driving, and also many lessons about life and how valuable it is.

I think the course was a great course, it made me look at driving a whole other way. I also thought it was good how Chris emphasized not to drink & drive and when the Trooper came in and talked to the class, it made me really think about the consequences. I liked the teaching style and how Chris can relate to us. The only thing I didn’t like about the class was the annoying girl who sat in the back.
